So the game's premise starts with the king, which is you of course, trying your very best to take your city back from those ruthless invaders. There's no particular backstory as to why that's the case but who cares. Let's enjoy the game XD

So basically you have to rebuild your city and train your army as a deterrent measure to ensure you won't ever lose your city again. 

So how would you go about doing it? Simple! You'll build resource buildings such as Farms and sawmills. These buildings will generate resources which will allow you to build more troops, cavalryman and research a holy shit plethora of upgrades so you can farm faster, support more troops for your army or simply just upgrade your troops to make them more powerful in battle so they can take out your opponents with ease. Problem with this game that we have is that it's a particularly slow process in terms of building up your city from scratch which is kind of the case with all of such games.

Almost every single aspect of the city building portion is complete with Timers. Research takes damn long (In Real Time) and just to make a simple basic unit can take up 4 minutes of your time. If you're a hardcore player, these are more or less enough to piss you off. You might say this is the common thing in freemium games but we would say it kinda appeals to casual players since they can only dedicate so much time to playing so it's not necessary a bad thing in our opinion.

Like Game of War, the game we're drawing our comparisons with, Clash of Kings have alliances. Which is a group of players that work to build up their cities by aiding in constructions or provide reinforcements. So instead of going solo in your attacks, you can perform a war rally that allows other players in the alliance to 'donate' soldiers to form a large combined army that allows for a fearsome bundle of troops to gather that is a force to be reckoned with. This aspect makes this game feel like an MMO social experience rather than a single player game.

While similar - VERY SIMILAR we would say, Clash of Kings is pretty awesome in its own rights. So we've decided to mod it and give you Unlimited Gold and Resources in Clash of Kings! We hope you can make full use of it and own the game!
