How to Update Huawei Ascend Mate 7 MT7-L09 to Android 5.1 Lollipop Firmware B327 (Latin America).

Huawei is finally rolling out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop B327 Update for its Ascend Mate 7 (MT7-L09) in Latin American countries including Colombia.

÷ How to Update Huawei Ascend Mate 7 to Android 5.1 Lollipop Firmware B327 (Latin America).

This firmware is only intended for the Latin American variants of Mate 7. It can be installed on models with similar model/build number provided that you install the included vendor package beforehand.

Step 1: Download the firmware RAR file from the aforementioned link and extract its contents to your PC.

Step 2: Connect your device to the computer in mass storage or MTP mode via USB.

Step 3: Transfer the extracted ‘dload’ folder to the main directory of your Mate 7’s external microSD card.

Step 4: Now unplug the USB cable and take a full backup of all your important data and apps.

Step 5: Open the Updater app and go to menu > Local update, select the update package and install it. Your phone will automatically reboot into its recovery and flash the new firmware.


Step 6: To force install this firmware, turn the device off and reboot by holding Volume up + Volume down + Power. Release the Power button upon vibration but keep holding the volume keys till the upgrade starts.
